Located at 1230 Pontius Road, the Mary Virginia Crites Hannan Park sits at the corner of SR 188 and Pontius Road. Considered the crown jewel of our park system, this 72 acre park is the newest and offers a natural park experience.
Our current rental facilities include 2 shelter houses and the Starkey Pavilion. The Starkey Pavilion is the only 4-season rental in our city park system. Please note that the Starkey Pavilion does not have central air, but does have heat available from October 1st through March 31st. Seasonal rates apply.
To make a reservation, please call 740-474-9502 for details or fill out our Reservation Form and submit with payment and deposit check.
Visitors enjoy the area's only "Boundless Playground", butterfly garden, a bird watching station and fire pit. Take the opportunity to walk or bike the park’s 1.2 mile paved trail and enjoy a hike through the woods on the hiking trail.
The park now features The Jeanine Leist McDowell Dog Park! The Dog Park features two separate sections for large and small dogs. Rules and regulations are posted at the entrance of the Dog Park.
Cool off with the park’s splash pad, which is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. The Splash Pad is now closed for the season. Check back for 2015 operating hours.
The Friends of the Circleville Parks welcomes volunteers. If interested, please email for more information.
